Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is from a multicultural family. Born within South London. Both her parents are both English. She was born in the South London Council Estate. She attended The Brit School aged 14. In London she attended The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting degree was earned. She was a part of various stages during her high school days, including the stage productions King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe began her career as an actress in the movie Storm Damage. She has appeared as an actor on Teachers Doctors Casualty Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe landed her first motion picture role in the Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. Following that, she played Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally, she starred in Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. The year 2008 saw her had the opportunity to play the role in the role of Bambi in The ITV2 drama series Secret Diary of a Call Girl which aired in series two and three. Madekwe was the main character in 2008's comedy How to Alienate and Lose Friends. A couple of her credits on stage include Little Sweet Thing (by Roy Williams) as well as Flight Path (by David Watson).
Madekwe made her US debut in the 2009 drama The Beautiful Life, which just aired two episodes on The CW before being cancelled. In February 2011, she was cast in the role of Ashley Davenport in the ABC drama series Revenge. Madekwe had appeared in all episodes in the series' first two seasons as a regular. But in May of 2013, announcement was made that she would be departing the show following her guest appearance on the first episode of the series' third season. From 2014 until 2016, she starred in Salem in the role of Tituba. Madekwe got married to her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June of 2012. Both have appeared in Secret Diary of a Call Girl. They also starred together in Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into a large, extended family. Her four older brothers were present as well: twins Todd and Bram, Brett & Rob. The four brothers of Ashley, who were all extremely active, took part in hockey in the winter months and played baseball in the summer, so she basically grew up in parks and arenas. Ashley was never able to walk. She was a dancer. At two and a half, she began to take part in Baby Ballet. Ashley became passionate about dance following this. Ashley was a professional dancer in all the major divisions until she finished high school. She competed in ballet, tap, jazz and pointe, as well as the acrobatics. Ashley took home the best soloist prize at each major dance competition, including International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance, to name just a few.
