She was born in California, Santa Monica on the 26th of November, 1986. The singer is the daughter of Vincenzo Barba, her father and Valerie Barba. They moved with their family from Point Pleasant in New Jersey in the year six. She finished her high school education throughout New Jersey at Red Bank Catholic High School. After graduating of Catholic University with a Bachelor's in Architecture and a Master's in Architecture, she continued to study at the university. Her first violin lessons began when she was four years old, and she was known by the name Violin Girl. Performances by her led to the use of her nickname. She also worked as a violin teacher for the children of the surrounding area. When she was nineteen she auditioned for the 6th series of American Idol and sang the 1976 hit single Free. The singer was subsequently eliminated the competition after she reached 16th. There were several songs she performed like 'The Christmas Sing 2009' and 'Out for Blood in 2010'. Additionally she has appeared in a few TV shows, like Jimmy Kimmel Live!. Antonella Barba is an American artist who became famous while competing on the 6th season of American Idol. In July, the artist was sentenced to prison for possessing more than 400 grams of Fentanyl, with the intent of distribution.
